who loved to sing,

who loved to laugh,
I am thankful for a Mother
who put her families needs first,
I am thankful for a Mother
who was at home to greet us when
we came home from school,
I am thankful for a Mother
who loved to have flowers
growing in her garden
and sweet little birds
singing outside her window,
But most of all ....
I am thankful for a Mother
who shared with us
the love of God and her faith
and trust in God all of her life.
