Old, New, Borrowed, Part 2

More Expo inspirations as promised.

This week I have been creating
more vintage memories on the
B side
of  the mini album from
My Minds Eye

These beautiful black vintage frames are

The detail and design is so intricate
and sooooo beautiful.
Just added a some pearls to help
lift the image and bring the page to life !

Jane Tregenza explained that the
design is from a 100 year old press
from Germany !

No wonder they are so exquisite !!

I found these buttons stored
away for many years in an
old biscuit tin, I painted them gold
because I love the richness and
warmth that gold brings to a layout.

I think they look
like miniature beach umbrellas.

One of my favourite finds from the Expo
was this very stylish crystal broach
which I purchased for only $1 ~ amazing !!

Unfortunately they only had one left :(

All these buttons were inside
 the same biscuit tin.

This miniature violin was a
broken old Christmas
decoration that I found this week
for 50 cents.

You can still see some
of the cracks even with the
 gold paint treatment however
I think all those cracks
just add to it's charm !

Which reminds me of beautiful song
which I trust will bless your life today.
